First Impressions; ▶VISUAL: Sunny is a rather short teenager, standing at only 5'1". He's Japanese and has fair colored skin, tired looking, dark eyes and a thin, malnourished body. Even though he's quite the sleeper and homebody, Sunny seems to have his hair well groomed and still wears his school uniform despite not attending it in years.
▶AURAL: Not quite sure of a voice for him yet since there's no speaking from him in his game, but he's extremely timid.
▶BEHAVIOR: Generally, he doesn't really smile or have much emotion, but he is known to be quite stubborn and have a temper. He will typically keep to himself and avoid people, crowds and going off as much as possible since he's been a shut in for four years. Sunny has a plethora of mental health issues that effects his personality. Nowadays, he has grown a fear of spiders, drowning, heights, staircases, various triggers attached to his trauma and leaving the house. He deals with both anxiety and depression along with escapism and dissociation as his mind continues to repress the truth of his past. Sunny can be quite morbid with a fascination for darker things, and although his mind can be rather disturbing, he's a not an outwardly malicious person. He can be quite loyal to people once he considers them his friend... it just takes time and patience. Sunny is also described as being unable to take care of himself, making him dependent on others. Other than that, he likes to draw, spend time with friends, enjoys music and reading (books and comic books), and has an overactive imagination.

▶ODDS & ENDS (Major Spoiler Warning):
- About his sister (Spoiler: highlight to read:) Mari was Sunny's protector and he was extremely close to her; they grew up spending a lot of time together. When Mari was 19 and Sunny turned 16, they were going to play a recital together with the violin that Sunny's friends got for him and a piano. Sunny could never play the violin perfectly, and in a fit of frustration from being under so much pressure, broke his violin. He and Mari have an extensive and heated argument. Sunny gets cornered and in a fit of anger, shoves Mari, accidentally pushing her down the long set of stairs. Mari's neck breaks and it kills her. Basil, Sunny's best friend, witnesses it happening and with some fast thinking, he makes a noose out of a jump rope and stages Mari's death as a suicide. Sunny blocks out the entire accident, and from that day forth: believes Mari committed suicide and becomes a shut in.
- Sunny has an "alter ego" named OMORI who is a 12 year old version of himself in his HEADSPACE. Omori isn't a character that ever "takes over" Sunny as in a split personality kind of situation, but he definitely is responsible for influencing his decisions and giving him intrusive thoughts. Spoiler: Highlight to read:Omori starts off as a protector for Sunny and continues to hide the truth about Mari's death from him, but as the game progresses and, depending on the decisions you as the player make, he becomes an antagonist who encourages Sunny to remain a shut in, and, eventually end his life when Sunny confronts him in the final battle (that is, if you choose the bad ending.)
- Sunny also has a shadowy entity called SOMETHING that follows him around. It cannot be seen or heard by anyone else besides Basil. Something represents all of Sunny's fears and also serves as the main antagonist of the game. It's said to taunt him and it also seen to be invincible as all of his attacks do no damage. It can physically hurt Sunny and interact with him, shoving him, pushing him, etc. Spoiler: Highlight to read: The only way Sunny can defeat Something is by resolving his trauma that his mind has repressed, which is the entire point of the game.
- Sunny's canon takes place in the year 2003. (Which is tragic because I wanted him to be a Redditor.) Statistics;
